Q: Can I rent a jeep and go off on my own?
A: No, Currituck county requires all jeep rentals to have a guide. Therefore, We go not do day/weekly rentals either. The jeep rentals are part of the tours; you drive yourself and follow behind a tour guide driven vehicle.
Q: How long are the tours?
A: Tours are approximately 2 hours long including travel time to and from the beach, which is about a 10 minute drive.
Q: Do I need a reservation?
A: Yes, we do require reservations and pre-payment to book a tour. Give us a call as soon as you know when you want to go on a tour so that you get your desired time and day because we do fill up fast.
Q: Can I pay cash or split payment at check-in?
A: Yes, however we do need credit information to hold your reservation. If you fail to show up for your tour, we do charge that credit card.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We require 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel your tour and recieve a refund. You can change the time/day of your tour at anytime, provided we have an opening.
Q: What if it rains the day of my tour?
A: If it's just raining we are still able to go out if you'd like. If not or it is raining heavily or thunder/lightening we cannot go out, so we can try to rebook you for a different time or if that does not work for you, we will give a refund.
Q: Are carseats allowed?
A: Yes, there are no age restrictions to take a tour. We just ask that your take the carseat out of your vehicle and our guides will help you get it into the tour vehicle.
Q: What is the best time of day to see the horses?
A: We guarentee you will see horses or your money back no matter what time of day. Our guides know where to look for the horses at different times of day, so whatever time works best for your party is up to you.
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Corolla, across from the Harris Teeter grocery store, and upstairs from Wings.
Coming from the South (Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores, etc.):
Take NC-12 North. The the first traffic light outside of Duck, make a left and immediately make another left into our parking lot.
Coming from the North (Corolla Light, Buck Island, Whalehead, etc.)
Take NC-12 South past the Timbuck II shopping center. At the next traffic light make a right and immediately make a left into our parking lot.
